CITYSCANNER® is a product of DCX Innovations leading provider of comprehensive information and communication technologies and software solutions in Smart City.

DCX Innovations has its roots in the collaboration of two highly innovative and high-performance companies in the fields of IT, Smart City and Deep Tech. DCXInnovations bundles the know-how  of the shareholders in the field of sensor technology and data management for cities and municipalities.

The MCX Group of Companies is one of the industry leaders in the development of advanced management systems for the production and distribution of green energy. The group of companies includes, among others, the company MCX Systems, where complex IT projects have been and are  being implemented in very sensitive areas, including e.B.  the provision of systems, licenses and services in the field of cashless payment transactions, solutions for trading energy from renewable sources and fully automatic monitoring of biogas plants.  Concepts for the preventive maintenance of wind power and biogas plants are based on "machine learning" algorithms as well as the optimization of digital trading platforms.

DotConnect:
DotConnect specializes in the development and deployment of deep-tech products (from concept to market launch). DotConnect has successfully completed a number of projects on various aspects of "mobile sensing" in the automotive industry. These include solutions for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and systems for autonomous driving (e.B. fusion of various sensors such as precise GPS, cameras and LIDARs). DotConnect's experience also includes process automation solutions based on machine learning, image processing and design of industrial robot platforms.

 

Most of the projects in which DotConnect was involved were carried out for, or in partnerships with, international companies. DotConnect has over 10 years of experience working with a world leading Software company in various aspects of the technology innovation industry. DotConnect's expertise is appreciated by the a European Stock Exchange, among others, where key components of the new blockchain-based transaction system are evaluated and developed according to DotConnect's recommendations.

Up to now the default approach to any sensing challenge in a Smart City is to install as many measuring devices as possible.
If a city would like to count vehicles parked in a given area, they usually equip each parking lot with one occupancy sensor. This solution provides precise real-time data but monitoring of the whole city center requires huge initial investment in hardware so it is far from optimal.


CITYSCANNER® Mobile MultiSensor

  • brings the flexibility to choose an area to scan without unnecessary costs

  • it is easily scalable and fast to deploy

  • It gathers the data with a speed proportional to its velocity.

  • If a higher “refresh rate” is needed, one can easily increase the number of sensor carriers (scalability similar to “pay-as-you-go” cloud infrastructure).
